NSPCC CPSUs Parents in Sport Week
The Club are pleased to be supporting the NSPCC Parents in Sport Week. This year’s campaign focuses on giving parents the information and tools they need to play an active part in safeguarding in sport.
Please keep an eye on our websites and social media accounts throughout the week for tips, videos and learning opportunities.
We would like to kick start the week with inviting you to take part in a new free e-learning course for parents, created by the NSPCC’s Child protection in Sport Unit (CPSU).
The course is designed to help you understand your role in keeping children safe in sport and to let you know who to turn to if you have any worries. It is suitable for any parent of a child who takes part in sport, regardless of your level of safeguarding knowledge. It should take you just 10 minutes to complete. You can take the course on a mobile or tablet – so why not kill some time whilst your son is training this week and access the course on your device in the warmth of the car!

As always, if you would like to raise any concerns with the Club around your child’s safety or wellbeing, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. #ParentsinSportWeek
